With a robust background in business analysis, I have transformed my career into a multifaceted journey of leadership, mentorship, and innovation. Starting as a business analyst, I ventured into education as a content developer and course instructor at the University of Manitoba. My passion led to the establishment of the Business Analysis School, which has impacted over 100,000 professionals from 90 countries.
Recognized as an award-winning career coach and mentor, I’ve curated mentorship programs and delivered keynote speeches globally. My dedication to empowering professionals and businesses through digital technology and effective strategies has solidified my status as an influential thought leader in the industry. I’m a Forbes 30 under 30 nominee and recipient of the Alberta Top 30 under 30, RBC Women of Influence 2020, and Top 100 Black Women to Watch in Canada 2020 awards. How did you initially get involved in the industry, and what motivated you to pursue a career in this field?
I started my career as an accountant and was interested in technology. I found my role very monotonous, so I got involved in more projects at work. I took an interest in project management and business analysis, took courses, and got my certification in business analysis. Ever since then, I have expanded my knowledge and expertise into agile, cloud, AI, and change management and led large digital transformation projects.
